annual Holiday Toy Drive last December. Over 1,000 children have been
served since the program was implemented.

homes in Westchester as part of Pajama Program’s national effort.

event. Our team, Rivertowns Rascals, raised over $5,000, making us the top team
in terms of dollars raised.
- Financially supported summer reading programs in local libraries.
International:
- Financially supported Rotary’s ongoing initiative to eradicate polio from the world.
Only 6 new cases of polio were reported world-wide during 2017.
- Participated both as hosts and financial supporters in Rotary’s Gift of Life program
providing free heart operations for 389 children from under-developed countries.
- Provided 60 school uniforms for children in Nepal. Without these uniforms,
students would not have been allowed to attend school.
- Donated computers to an orphanage in Kibera, a slum neighborhood of Nairobi,
Kenya, for use in the local school.
- Assisted financially with water projects in Africa in which new wells were dug and
modern filtering systems were installed to enhance the health of local communities.
